How to find the right size for your orange children

To find the right shoe size, grab a sturdy sheet of paper / cardboard, place the child's feet on it and trace the outline of the feet.
Make sure that your toes are stretched out and that you are standing as upright as possible.
Measure from the heel to the longest toe in cm.
Then add at least 1.2 to approx. 1.7 cm (thumb width) - so that the little toes have enough room to spread out - because... children's feet grow rapidly in the first few years, on average two to three sizes a year.
The little feet need space and should not be damaged by a shoe that is too tight.
Once you have found your own pair of orange children's shoes, the size should be checked regularly, preferably monthly - depending on the growth phase.
The insole of many children's shoes can be removed. The imprint of the insole makes it easy to see where the foot currently sits. Place your little foot on it, measure it and check whether the length still matches the above tips!
Extra tip: Lined shoes should be bought larger, as our 100% wool lining from Orangenkinder-Schuhen reduces the volume of the shoe inside.
